Alt-Frequencies
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Android
An audio mystery set in a time loop. Record, rewind time and broadcast snippets of radio shows to expose radio hosts, conspiracy theorists and politicians.
Alt-Frequencies is an audio-based game, revolving around radio stations that reset every 3 minutes. Populated with all sorts of different characters and personalities, players get an intimate look into the lives of radio hosts, conspiracy theorists, students, politicians, underground activists, train station managers - and a dog.
By redistributing information, you change what happens in the next 3 minute time loop and impact both news cycles and the lives of the people behind them.
Listen as their personal stories evolve, in a world that seems to stand still.
- A new kind of narrative game that blurs the lines between the fantastical and the everyday while examining our relationship with mainstream media through the prism of radio stations.
- Built-in accessibility features that make the game available to a wide range of people - including blind and visually impaired players.
- Brought to life by a diverse cast of 20+ amazing voice performers, including TV, podcasts and YouTube personalities such as Jasika Nicole (Fringe, Welcome to Night Vale).
- By Accidental Queens, the studio behind the critically acclaimed A Normal Lost Phone and Another Lost Phone: Laura’s Story, and co-produced with ARTE, the European cultural network.

Interesting but... honestly I lost interest after the second act.
Incredible game. I loved the radio clip mechanic and how it was used to interact with the story. The voice acting is tremendous and the story is compelling from start to finish. Superb all-round.
I absolutely loved it!
What a ride! great game!
Hi, any chance you can update the APK to match the version from the play store?
Agreed!
Where is the Mac and Windows versions as advertised on World Land Trust Bundle?
So are you telling me that unless I paid "$7.99 USD or more" for the World Land Trust Bundle all I have access to is the Android version? Is that true because I don't have Android...
I didn't realize I needed to check over sixty game pages for fine print :/
Hello, I bought the World Land Trust Bundle, please provide the Windows versions as the bundle listed it as a windows game on the purchase and download pages
Just bought the game but it says I have the android version and I wish to play this on my PC.
As posted by the others, I was wondering if y'all could upload the windows and mac builds for the World Land Trust Bundle. This was one of the games that convinced me to get the bundle, and it did show up as a windows game on the bundle page.
Hi there, I just bought the World Land Trust Bundle, which indicated in the list of included games that this one has versions for Windows, Mac and Android. Yet when I go to the download page there appears only a link to an Android version. I couldn't find a support email so hopefully you will see this and be able to sort out whatever the issue is. Thanks!
Hey! Just so you know if you have the itch.io app, you can download the version of game you need. It works for windows, can't speak to mac since I don't have it, but I would guess downloading via the app would work for that too.
I gave that a try but can't get it to work. The Install "select" dropdown has nothing to choose from - it's just blank, and clicking the install button gives an error.
I bought the game through a bundle and when I tried to install it through the itch.io app there was no option to select in the install tab above the location. I'm not sure why it wont let me install but im really excited to play the game once it can lol
I got this game free on Prime Games a while back. It's such a beautiful and powerful game and the best game I've ever played that can be played without vision. I feel a game of this quality is worth at least $15, $5 and even the $8 game is very very fair for a game this great.
I somehow disabled screenreader support. How can i re-enable it?
this HAD to have been inspired by oxenfree, right?
Seeing Jasika Nicole in the description pushed right over the buyer's edge. Look's like a really cool game! That and I have not played a game with time loops and radios since Oxenfree.
Though I bought it and only have access to the radio_gold_s27_drmfree_1.2.apk Android file, and I'm currently rocking a Mac device. Help!
Hey thanks!
There are pricing tiers: $4.99 USD for the Android version only and $7.99 USD for Android + Desktop versions.
I don't know why Itch only displays the lowest price first, you have to see the "Purchase" section for pricing details...
